Weight Distribution Part 2

Description: In this video, Matt gets into further details about the distribution of weight on the backswing and how to use that weight distribution to generate more power.

Focus Points:

  • At the top of the backswing, you want to feel tension in your back leg’s quadricep muscle and glut muscle.
  • You want the weight you transfer on the backswing to be closer to the heel of your back foot compared to the toe/ball of the back foot.
  • Make sure your hips don’t over rotate on the backswing as this will break the tension in your muscles and will drain your power.
