The Grip

Strength Of The Grip

There are different grips you can employ (Overlap, Interlocking, 10 Finger, Etc.) however, the degree of strength employed must be consistent.  We recommend a Neutral to slightly Strong Grip in order to have repeatable yet powerful contact with the golf ball.

Below are examples of a Strong, Neutral and Weak Grip.

Strong Grip

Both V’s point behind the back shoulder.

Neutral Grip

Both V’s point to the back shoulder.

Weak Grip

Both V’s point towards the front shoulder.

Note how in the Neutral Grip, both V's are parallel to each other while still pointing towards the back shoulder.  This allows for the most consistent and repeatable contact with the ball.
