Weight Distribution (Down the Line View)

Description: Matt explains in further detail proper weight distribution and how that translates into hitting the ball further (Down The Line View).

Focus Points:

  • You want to keep your knees bent throughout the backswing.
  • Your back knee should be positioned directly above your back foot’s heel.
  • You want to feel that you are sitting at the top of the back swing and not turning your hip out and over rotating. 
  • Your hips should not move much on the backswing which will help to create tension in your muscles in turn translating to more power on the downswing.
