The Follow Through
How The Club Head Moves On An Arc
These pictures demonstrate how the club head travels back and inside on an arc during the backswing (Figures 1-4) then comes forward and inside on the same arc for the follow through (Figures 5-8). Following this arc allows for the club head to be square to your target at impact.
It is important for the golfer to obtain full extension, or straight arms, during the follow through (Figures 5-8,Yellow Lines) and still maintain the club head moving forward and inside on the swing arc.
